Your new role
As the Project Administrator / Development Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of medium-density residential projects and developer-focused work. This includes coordinating projects, managing documentation, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders throughout all stages of development.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Oversee and report on administrative workflows from initial sales enquiry through to completion.
* Communicate regularly with clients and developers, providing timely updates on project progress and status.
* Coordinate and monitor tasks assigned to internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
* Prepare, review, and issue contract documentation accurately and within required timeframes.
* Assist in the development and coordination of sales and marketing materials for project promotions.
* Maintain comprehensive and accurate records throughout all stages of the administrative process.
* Support the efficient progression of projects through internal workflows to achieve key milestones.
* Ensure all project documentation is current, complete, and properly organised for easy access.
* Work closely with the Workflow Team to advance projects through planning and onto site with precision and urgency.
* Provide reception coverage and deliver general administrative support when required.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will meet the following criteria:
* At least 2 years of experience in the construction or real estate sector, with a strong understanding of residential building practices and terminology (preferred but not mandatory)
* Knowledge of the SA Planning System, including zoning requirements and experience liaising with councils, private certifiers, and planners.
* Strong communication skills-written, verbal, and visual-combined with excellent presentation, organisation, and time management abilities.
* High attention to detail with proven capability in managing and engaging internal and external stakeholders.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with database and workflow tracking software is advantageous.
* Highly organised, able to multitask effectively, and motivated to work collaboratively as a reliable team player.
