The Bureau of Meteorology is currently undergoing a significant transformation to deliver a more customer centric, unified and resilient national operation. This is an exciting new strategic direction for the Bureau which will revolutionise the way it delivers services to Australian communities.
Once established, the EPS will be responsible for national monitoring of hazardous conditions and will be deployed into operation under the direction of National Production to deliver specialised, hazard-based advice, warning and outlook services.
The Manager Marine and Antarctic Environmental Prediction Services will lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver consistent high-quality Marine and Antarctic related environmental prediction products and support the Bureau's decision support services to deliver tailored advice to decision makers and customers in Industry, Emergency Management and the Australian Community. They will drive innovation and scientific excellence to deliver impact-based services and put customers and their needs at the centre of Bureau operations.
