Nyaal Banyul is a premier venue set to open in the future, operated by the Victorian Convention and Event Trust. Role Overview
The Audio Visual Event Project Manager will provide support with technical quotes and the delivery of events at Nyaal Banyul. This role provides subject matter expertise on audio visual offerings and timely event specific quotations during the enquiry and planning stages. The role requires effective management and coordination of multiple key stakeholders to deliver a high level of service to clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with Sales & Planning Managers to pick up sales enquiries
* Oversee and support the presentation, preparation and follow-up of AV proposals
* Assist in detailed site inspections with clients, key stakeholders and industry partners
* Manage and maintain data integrity of the CRM and ensure all event information is accurate and relevant
Event Planning and Operations
* Provide customers with an experience that meets or exceeds their expectations by providing thorough plans, scheduling and documentation
* Prepare event orders, floor plans and other written information in detail as required for each allocated event
* Ensure post event feedback is gathered for each event, and shared accordingly
Financial Performance
* Assist Senior Manager, Audio Visual in driving team programs with a focus on financial sustainability and customer satisfaction
* Complete forecasting and reporting of event budgets against revenue targets
* Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets
* Ensure event orders are closed in Momentus within defined timeframes to achieve accurate and timely billing
Required Skills and Experience
* Construction (White) Card
* EWP (Significant demonstrated technical experience in Audio Visual Sales and Account Management)
* A successful track record in interpreting and delivering client expectations and needs
* Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage customers effectively
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Strong understanding of all audio visual disciplines including audio, lighting, video, rigging, vision and staging systems
* Familiarity with venue operations and safety protocols
* Prior experience in Event Design and Production Management
* Experienced user of audio visual event systems, including Vectorworks Spotlight
