Global Logistics Coordinator
We are seeking a motivated and proactive individual to join our team as a Global Logistics Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating end-to-end logistics and transport operations across international trade lanes.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to liaise effectively with transport providers, suppliers, and internal teams. They will also have strong analytical skills and be able to manage data entry, documentation, and compliance monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor shipment tracker updates, delays, and deviations.
* Proactively communicate with freight providers and keep stakeholders informed.
* Assist with shipment bookings and prepare export compliance documents.
* Handle customer inquiries with urgency and professionalism.
* Build strong relationships with freight providers using a collaborative approach.
* Verify freight invoice accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
* Maintain databases with accurate freight pricing and logistics data.
* Collaborate with departments to support financial and operational processes.
* Identify process improvements and implement enhancements.
* Support warehouse team with export shipping queries and inventory management tasks.

Qualifications:
* Formal tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
* 1 year of experience working with 3PL providers, freight forwarders, and vendors is desirable but not essential.
* Agile and proactive thinker with excellent prioritization and multi-tasking skills.
* Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
* Experience with commodity import/export customs processes is advantageous.
