An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and highly skilled Clinical Nurse to join the dedicated PACU/Recovery Unit at a private hospital in Perth. This is a permanent full-time position. ABOUT THE ROLE This direct leadership role will see you leading and supporting front-line team members whilst working alongside a passionate multidisciplinary team. Your day-to-day operations will include problem-solving, fostering a positive and supportive culture and providing dedicated and specialised advice to team members. In addition, you will perform accurate and comprehensive patient assessments to address short and long-term needs. REQUIREMENTS Current registration with AHPRA; Minimum three -four years' full-time post-graduate experience working in a PACU / Recovery Unit; Proven ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patients; Preceptorship experience and a compassionate approach to mentoring students and novice nurses; Proven management skills of a large team; Paediatric experience, ALS and PALS desirable.
