You'll be working closely with a passionate Payroll Manager and a high-performing team to run payroll for over 400 employees across multiple sites and projects.
This is not just a transactional role; you'll be involved in solving payroll challenges, streamlining systems, and contributing to process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Payroll Manager with day-to-day oversight of payroll operations
- Prepare and process weekly payrolls for over 400 employees across multiple sites
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee payroll records
- Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, taxation, EBAs, and company policies
- Be the first point of contact for payroll-related queries from employees and management
- Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and the Payroll Manager to ensure seamless payroll execution
- Support payroll reporting, data analysis, and external/internal audits
- Contribute to ongoing systems and process improvements across payroll
- Assist with award interpretation, payroll tax, and workers' compensation administration
- Provide support and guidance to junior payroll team members
