About the Role

We have opportunities available for Airline Ground Services Operators to join our Defence division and support this contract. These roles will be based at RAAF Darwin, ideally commencing on or before 1 February 2026. These will be offered as permanent, full-time positions giving you job security and an opportunity through additional training and career progression with a growing ASX-listed company.

About the role
You will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and customer-focused operation of ground services for airline passengers and aircrafts. This position is responsible for coordinating and executing a range of operational tasks.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Assisting passengers during check-in, boarding, and disembarkation, ensuring a smooth and courteous experience.
* Handling baggage operations including loading, unloading, sorting, and transferring luggage safely and efficiently.
* Operating ground service equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and air stairs in accordance with safety protocols.
* Monitoring and reporting any irregularities or safety concerns related to aircraft, passengers, or equipment.
* Communicating effectively with airline staff, ground crew, and airport authorities to coordinate operations.
* Ensuring compliance with aviation security regulations and workplace health and safety standards.
* Responding promptly to passenger inquiries and provide accurate information regarding flights and service.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have:
* Previous experience in aviation, airport operations, or customer service.
* Experience working in fast-paced environments.
* Demonstrated ability to follow safety procedures and operational protocols.
* Proven teamwork and communication skills in a shift-based or rostered role.
* Current Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and ASIC preferred, however we can support you to obtain if needed.
You must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
