Your Next Challenge
Lead the day-to-day operations of Newhaul's Transport division. Working in close partnership with key stakeholders across the roads Division and beyond, this role plays a pivotal part in delivering operational excellence, achieving service and tonnage targets, and maintaining Newhaul's strong commitment to safety and compliance .
* Recruit, lead, and develop Superintendents and Supervisors across multiple sites
* Set KPIs, conduct reviews, and foster a culture of accountability and improvement
* Ensure safety, compliance, and cost‑effective movement from pit to port
* Identify and implement cost‑saving initiatives across labour, fuel, fleet, and loaders, while supporting digitisation and automation aligned with business goals.
About You
* An inspiring hands‑on leader with deep knowledge of road trains and be a seasoned transport and logistics professional understanding long‑haul road transportation in bulk commodities
* Communicates with clarity and confidence and likes to "get in and amongst it", who lives and breathes "all things transport"
* Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and risk management
* Commercially savvy, results‑driven, and passionate about innovation, digitisation, and automation
