Community Safety and Animal Management
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Community Safety Officer to join our team. As a Community Safety Officer, you will be responsible for promoting community safety and well-being through proactive measures and enforcement of safety regulations. You will also be involved in animal management activities, including domestic animal management and fire prevention.
Responsibilities:
- Implementing safety initiatives and programs
- Collaborating with community groups and stakeholders
- Managing domestic animals and enforcing animal control regulations
Requirements:
- A Certificate IV in Animal Management/Local Government/Statutory Compliance, or equivalent experience
- Qualified or willing to qualify as an Assistant Municipal Fire Prevention Officer
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills

About This Role:
- Part-time fixed-term until 12 February 2026
- 2 days / 15.2 hours per week
- Band 5: $38.90 per hour + 11.5% superannuation
