Synergie is looking for a hands-on, commercially driven Business Manager to lead and grow our Central Queensland operation across Rockhampton, Gladstone, Emerald and Mackay.
This is not a behind-the-desk leadership role. We’re looking for a strong operator who can drive sales, build client relationships, lead from the front, and support a growing blue-collar recruitment business on the ground.
You’ll take ownership of an established branch, managing a small team while focusing on business development, client growth, operational delivery, and workforce safety.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Driving new business development and growing existing client partnerships
2. Leading from the front across sales, recruitment delivery, and operations
3. Managing and mentoring a small team of consultants
4. Supporting workforce planning, site visits, and client engagement across the region
5. Building a high-performing branch with future team growth in mind
6. Maintaining strong safety and compliance standards across operations
What we’re looking for:
7. Strong leadership experience within recruitment, labour hire, staffing, or workforce solutions
8. Proven business development and client management capability
9. A hands-on operator who enjoys being out with clients and teams
10. Ability to lead and grow a small branch environment
11. Someone commercially driven, resilient, and highly accountable
12. Local Central QLD market knowledge or established regional networks highly regarded
