About the role:
A Clinical Nurse is a Registered Nurse who is accountable at an advanced level for the coordination of clinical practice delivered in a clinical specialty. This position provides leadership and support to nursing and medical staff and supports the delivery of competent, best practice quality nursing care, while working in collaboration with the line manager of the unit. The Clinical Nurse is responsible for portfolio management with focus on clinical care/leadership, management and education.
Contribute to the development of a supportive learning environment that aims to improve clinical knowledge, practice standards, professional skill and service specific competencies. Provide evidenced-based care by working collaboratively and in partnership with consumers, carers, external agencies, and other health professionals/workers across the care continuum.
About you:
Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual practising certificate are mandatory for this position. Desirable to have post graduate qualifications in the clinical area of expertise. Experience in the provision of a safe and quality focused environment by ensuring safe work practices, reviewing clinical outcomes, developing a quality improvement plan and applying the risk management framework. Well-developed clinical knowledge and advanced problem-solving skills in a high-quality client-orientated health service delivery model. High level knowledge of legislation, standards, policies, and procedures relevant to contemporary nursing practice and specific to area of practice.
What we offer:
Total monthly remuneration value of up to $11,321 p.m. is comprised of:
An hourly rate between $56.08 - $60.05 p.h. 12.75% employer superannuation contribution17.5% leave loading
