Job Title
A Quality Project Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects. This involves overseeing the implementation of quality standards, assurance and control to support infrastructure upgrades and future nuclear submarine capability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Track project deliverables as directed by the Project Manager and Quality Manager
* Plan and coordinate works, equipment and personnel
* Write technical documentation for both internal and external audiences
* Prepare quality assurance documentation in accordance with requirements
* Assist in developing project-specific quality management plans and execute requirements during project delivery
* Warranty tracking
* Ensure compliance of QA documentation with relevant codes and Australian standards
* Independently manage the production of project documentation
About You:
* Experience within a construction/engineering environment
* Full project lifecycle experience including planning, procurement, delivery, commissioning and completion
* Delivering projects to program requirements
* Demonstrated project engineering experience
* Working in a nuclear or radiological construction environment
* Knowledge of relevant codes, Australian Standards and ISO 19443
* Understanding of nuclear safety culture and its importance
* Quality Management processes
* Ability to operate autonomously while ensuring project efficiency
Qualifications & Requirements:
* Nuclear New Build Sites certificate
* Tertiary qualification in Engineering
* White Card
* Project engineering, project management or other relevant discipline degree
* Police clearance due to projects being on a Defence site
* Meeting country of origin and security clearance requirements
