About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in Charge, you’ll lead and support our care team during your shifts to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care. You’ll play a key role in coordinating resident care, supporting staff, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Duties
- Lead the clinical team during your shift, ensuring high standards of care
- Coordinate and oversee the care provided to residents
- Complete clinical documentation and ensure compliance with aged care standards
- Support and mentor care staff and ENs
- Administer medications and monitor residents’ health
- Manage emergencies and escalate concerns appropriately
- Liaise with families, GPs, allied health professionals, and management
Essential Requirements
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Proven leadership skills and experience in a similar role
- Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Robust clinical and documentation skills
- A passion for aged care and person-centred service
- Flexibility to work across shifts, including evenings, nights and weekends
- Current National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
