**Canterbury League Club is seeking a passionate and experienced Barista to join our team on a casual basis.**

**About the Role**
In this role, the key responsibilities include:
- Providing exceptional customer service to our members and guests
- Preparing specialty coffee and ensuring all items are served within an appropriate timeframe
- Building a professional rapport with regular customers, pre-empting their needs, and adapting to patron requests
- Taking and processing orders in an efficient manner
- Checking beverages for quality and presentation
- Replenishing coffee bean supply and cleaning all coffee and brewing equipment as required
- Training new employees on basic coffee service techniques
- Maintaining the general cleanliness of all service areas
**About you**
**To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills and attributes**:
- Previous Barista experience including experience with an espresso machine and grinder
- Excellent knowledge of coffee service and products
- Demonstrated experience working in a high-volume café
- A self-motivated individual with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Outstanding communication skills
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Current NSW RSA & RSG Competency Card (essential)
- Full working rights in Australia
