Job Description
We are currently looking for a passionate Data Centre Technician to join our highly skilled Melbourne facilities team.
Your day to day will include:
* Assist with customer equipment and installations
* Maintaining in-depth knowledge of the Facility Rules and ensure adherence at all times
* Delivery of cabling needs, electrical and data, to customer racks and areas
* Attend to Remote Hands Request
* Assist with the maintenance of all core electrical and mechanical systems
* Ensure that facility problems are identified and resolved in a timely manner
Qualifications
To be successful you'll have:
* Knowledge of data centres (highly desirable)
* Hands on experience with fibre optic cabling
* Excellent customer service, communication skills and most importantly, a can do attitude
* TAFE Cert in Telecommunications
* A Grade Electrical License (desirable)
* Candidates MUST be Australian Citizens in order to obtain security clearances
