About the Role
The Team Leader is responsible for the effective delivery of the Family Mental Health Programs by providing leadership, supervision, and support to staff to ensure high-quality service delivery. This role plays a key part in fostering a positive team culture and ensuring alignment with organisational values and objectives.
The role also requires maintaining a small, active client caseload, contributing directly to service delivery while leading the team.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, supervise, and support staff to meet program quality standards
* Conduct regular team meetings and individual supervision
* Support staff development, capability building, and professional standards
* Ensure programs meet contractual requirements and client needs
* Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve program outcomes
* Liaise with the Program Manager regarding staffing, performance, and budget requirements
* Maintain a small, active client caseload in line with program needs
* Prepare and submit monthly program reports, including performance data, outcomes, and service insights
* Build strong relationships with clients, families, and stakeholders
* Ensure compliance with legislative, contractual, and organisational requirements
* Maintain accurate data collection, record keeping, and reporting
* Contribute to service development, accreditation, and continuous improvement initiatives
About You

Essential Criteria
* Relevant qualifications in Psychology, Social Science, Community Services, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
* Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
* Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
* Sound knowledge of community services frameworks, legislation, and best practice
* Capacity to effectively manage both leadership responsibilities and a clinical caseload
