The Opportunity
Recruitment Labs is partnering with a leading advisory firm that is investing heavily in the growth of its corporate tax practice.
With strong leadership support, a healthy pipeline of work and a genuinely people‑focused culture, they’re looking to add talented tax professionals who want to forge their own path; not just follow one.
We have flexibility to consider candidates from Analyst / Senior Associate / Assistant Manager through to Senior Manager, and can base roles from any East Coast capital (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane), with hybrid working and genuine flexibility built in.
Role Profile
Working as part of a high‑performing corporate tax team, you will:
- Work across a blend of compliance and advisory engagements for a diverse portfolio of corporate clients
- Support clients with business‑specific tax challenges, including tax governance, audits/reviews, international tax matters and transactions
- Be actively involved in projects such as M&A; / deals, cross‑border structuring, tax‑effect accounting and ATO interactions
- Build trusted relationships with clients, becoming a go‑to adviser for commercial, practical tax advice
- Contribute to continuous improvement of tax processes, tools and ways of working within the team
- At Manager / Senior Manager level, provide leadership, coaching and review support to more junior team members while playing a visible role in client relationship development

Successful Candidate Profile
We’re open to a range of backgrounds and levels, and encourage applications from people who might not tick every box. As a guide, you will likely bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, Law, Finance or a related discipline; CA / CPA / CTA (or working towards) is strongly regarded
- Experience in corporate tax within a professional services / advisory workplace (or strong tax exposure from a Business Services / Private Advisory background looking to specialise)
- Solid technical grounding in Australian corporate tax, with exposure to areas such as tax‑effect accounting, consolidations, international tax or M&A;
- Strong analytical skills and commercial curiosity – you enjoy understanding how clients actually operate, not just the legislation
- A collaborative style, with confidence working directly with clients and other advisers
- For Manager / Senior Manager level: demonstrated experience leading engagements, reviewing work, coaching junior staff and contributing to business development activities
