This isn't your average \"pulling wire\" job. As an Electrical Field Service Technician, you'll be the face of a progressive industry powerhouse with over 30 years of experience. THE ROLE
Working autonomously across Darwin and beyond, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and high level maintenance of engineered electrical systems. Your day to day will include:
* Conducting deep dive fault finding and testing on automated systems.
* Installing and repairing complex BMS/SCADA control systems.
* Organising and delivering service support based on specific client needs.
* Managing your own job cards, wiring diagrams, and electronic site logs.
* Mentoring apprentices and junior technicians to build the next generation of talent.
ABOUT YOU
You are a results driven technician who takes genuine pride in the quality of your workmanship. You thrive under pressure, love a technical puzzle, and can communicate clearly with everyone from site managers to teammates.
Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position.
What you need to bring:
* A current full Electrical License.
* A proven background in maintaining industrial or automated electrical systems.
* Minimum 3-4 years of experience in maintaining industrial or automated electrical systems is required.
* A current \"White Card\" and a commitment to zero harm practices.
* A valid Australian Driver's License and a willingness to travel to various sites.
* The ability to interpret complex plans, specifications, and wiring diagrams.
Note: Experience with Instrumentation (Cert III), Working at Heights/Confined Space tickets, or electrical switchboard manufacturing will be highly regarded.
