Overview
Our client is looking for a Safety Advisor to manage a long-term residential project with multiple towers in Waterloo. The towers are at different stages of construction and we are seeking an experienced candidate within residential construction.
The ideal candidate will be hands on, solution-oriented and familiar with systems such as HammerTech.
Responsibilities
* Consistently influence and improve safety structure and culture across the project whilst building strong relationships with stakeholders, contractors and colleagues
* Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance across the project
* Manage contractor relationships, having a positive influence on the importance of WHS procedures and processes
* Be hands-on and practical—intend to fix issues rather than just identify them
* Record incidents and lead investigations effectively
* Maintain safety records, inspection logs, and compliance reports
* Work closely with Construction Managers and Site Managers to ensure the project timescales and service delivery is to a high standard
Qualifications
* Safety experience within residential construction projects
* Proven experience in working on projects over $100m
* Experience working for a credible builder/developer
