Accounting Expertise:
As a highly skilled accounting professional, you will have the opportunity to expand your expertise in corporate accounting and gain exposure to fund management and family office operations. You will take ownership of accounts payable processes with medium transaction volume, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all payments. Your responsibilities will also include managing accounts receivable functions with low volume transactions, maintaining clear records and effective communication with stakeholders. In addition, you will liaise directly with external trustees to coordinate payment instructions, fostering dependable relationships built on trust and clarity. To ensure the integrity of financial data, you will perform bank reconciliations for approximately 60 cash accounts across multiple currencies, demonstrating attention to detail and organisational skills. Furthermore, you will process staff expense reimbursements and manage corporate credit card transactions efficiently, supporting colleagues across the business. You will also reconcile inter-company loans accurately, ensuring all balances are up-to-date and discrepancies are resolved promptly. Moreover, you will prepare period-end closing accruals, contributing to timely and accurate financial reporting cycles within the organisation. The role requires the ability to maintain prepayment schedules and fixed asset registers, supporting robust financial controls and asset management practices. You will allocate overhead costs appropriately across departments and recharge where necessary, promoting transparency in cost management. Lastly, you will assist with BAS lodgements, financial audits, internal systems audits, year-end family office accounting tasks, and other ad hoc duties as required.
