Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Workshop Manager located in Parkes, NSW. The Workshop Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the workshop, managing the maintenance and repair of machinery, supervising staff, ensuring safety compliance, coordinating with suppliers, and managing inventory. The role involves planning and scheduling work, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
Qualifications
* Experience in workshop management, machinery maintenance, and repair
* Knowledge of underground hard rock mining equipment and mobile plant components
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Ability to ensure safety compliance and coordinate with suppliers
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* Relevant certifications or qualifications in mechanical trade / engineering or a related field
* Experience in inventory management and record-keeping is desireable
