Purpose
As a Room Attendant, you play a vital role in our Housekeeping department by keeping our rooms clean and attending to every detail. Your responsibilities extend beyond housekeeping tasks and include collaborating with the team and assisting guests as needed. Your dedication ensures every guest has a memorable stay.
Primary Responsibilities
* Thoroughly clean all sections of the guest rooms, including changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, and wiping down surfaces, to ensure an exceptional first impression.
* Work within established guidelines to achieve impeccable standards.
* Maintain and restock housekeeping trolleys, keeping them organised and well equipped.
* Use cleaning materials safely and adhere to safety protocols.
* Respect guest privacy and security, upholding our commitment to their comfort.
* Report maintenance issues promptly.
Skills and Experience
* Previous experience as a cleaner or room attendant is a plus.
* Warm and welcoming communication style that makes guests and team members feel at home.
* Attention to detail and efficient time management, taking pride in tasks.
* Physical stamina for a role that requires navigating between rooms, using internal and external staircases and open pathways.
* Ability to collaborate with colleagues from various backgrounds.
* Reliable transportation and availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
