As we expand due to internal promotions and exciting new long‐term projects, we are seeking an experienced Drilling Supervisor (RC) to join our team. ABOUT THE JOB
This is a full‐time, permanent FIFO/DIFO position on a 2/2 roster from Perth. You'll be leading a skilled team in a 12‐hour shift rotation at various work sites within Western Australia. With a focus on long‐term project success, you'll be instrumental in continuing the company's growth trajectory.
We're looking for a motivated, detail‐oriented individual with a passion for driving safety, quality, and innovation in drilling operations. To qualify, candidates must have unrestricted working rights in Australia.
ESSENTIAL KEY REQUIREMENTS
The primary responsibility of this role is overseeing Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling operations for multiple long‐term clients across Western Australia. You will manage and guide your team to ensure safe, efficient, and high‐quality operations.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* Extensive experience managing complex RC rig campaigns, particularly in 12‐hour continuous onsite operations.
* Ability to manage resources effectively, including stock levels, maintenance schedules, and team training/leadership.
* A commitment to delivering safe, high‐quality service at all times.
* Mechanical expertise with Schramm T685 and T685i drill rigs, along with an in‐depth understanding of drilling operations.
* Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide your team while aligning with client and management objectives.
* Proven ability to identify and implement corrective actions for operational improvements.
* Flexibility and resilience, able to adjust quickly to changes in client or organizational goals.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Office Suite and the ability to produce detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders (safety, progress, training, etc.).
SKILLS AND TRAINING TO BE CONSIDERED
* Cert IV in Drilling Operations
* TAEASS402 Assess Competence certificate
* S26 - Statutory Responsibilities for Mining Supervisors (SRMS) certificate
* At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
* Leadership and effective communication skills
* Strong OHS awareness & work ethic
* Ability to adapt to an ever‐changing work environment safely & efficiently
