* Lead and contribute to cloud and hybrid migrations from on‐premise infrastructure to Azure
* Engineer solutions across Azure compute, networking, storage, identity, and platform services
* Contribute to cloud architecture standards, reference designs, and best-practice frameworks
* Implement and maintain cloud security, governance, and compliance controls
* Develop Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Bicep, ARM, or Terraform
* Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to enable reliable cloud deployments
* Provide Level 3 technical support and act as an escalation point for cloud-related incidents
* Proactively monitor environments to prevent performance or availability issues
* Optimise cloud costs through right-sizing, automation, and financial governance
* Act as a technical lead on IT projects, including vendor engagement and solution delivery
* Mentor and coach IT engineers and team members to build cloud capability and maturity
* Collaborate across IT and the business to deliver secure, modern, and resilient platforms
About you

* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
* Ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders
* A collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
Experience with on‐premise infrastructure (Hyper‐V, VMware, SAN storage, networking) and cloud security frameworks such as ISO 27001 or the ASD ISM will be highly regarded.
