Essential Requirements
* Applicants must hold full General or Specialist Registration as a medical practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
All major states and territories covered (NSW, VIC, QLD, SA, WA, NT, ACT, TAS). We can assist with locum placements in large, tertiary metropolitan hospitals or more rural/regional settings.
We can secure contracts ranging from short term locum positions through to long term, ongoing work.

Consultant Paediatrician – Sante Recruitment, Sale, VIC
This is a Level 4 Obstetric service with a capability of 34 weeks. CGH has a Level 3 Nursery. The service includes a 24 hour inpatient and emergency department service.
The paediatric service operates a community paediatrics clinic 5 days per week and outreach services to Bairnsdale. The paediatric service has an establishment of up to 4 specialist paediatricians, 1 paediatric advanced trainee registrar and 1 HMO.
Up to 1.0 FTE is available; part time and job share applications will be considered.
* Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physician (FRACP), or other.
* Postgraduate clinical training, qualifications and experience assessed by the RACP as being fully or partially comparable to an Australian physician and suitable for an Area of Need physician appointment.
Clinical Director Emergency Medicine – Warranambool, Vic
We are currently seeking a positive, enthusiastic, and team-oriented Clinical Director of Emergency Medicine. The Emergency Department sees over 25,000 presentations per annum and is a regional trauma and referral centre, seeing major road trauma from road, farm and factory.
Position Overview:
* Full Time, On-going position 50% clinical, 50% clinical support time.
* Working as part of a collaborative and highly skilled team of health professionals, excellent communication and leadership skills are essential, along with a proven capacity to provide clinical leadership to a range of professional clinical staff in a multi-disciplinary team.
* This is an ACEM tier 2 training site.
* Applicants are required to have suitable qualifications as a medical practitioner registered with AHPRA and be a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Emergency Physicians.

Consultant Psychiatrist – Melbourne
This is one of Melbourne’s largest public health services. They provide a range of emergency, surgical, medical and general healthcare services, including maternity, palliative care, mental health, drug and alcohol, residential care, community health and state-wide specialist services. The position supports the work of the Clinical Director, Adult Acute, Mental Health Program.
Part time/Locum or full time considered.
The Consultant Psychiatrist will provide psychiatric services to the Adult Rehabilitation stream and the Mental Health and Wellbeing Program more broadly as directed/required. The Consultant Psychiatrist will work in partnership with the Manager/Team Leader to ensure that services provided to the community are the highest standard, emphasising excellence, service, care, staff performance, cost efficiency, research and education within a comprehensive clinical governance framework.
* Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or equivalent postgraduate specialist qualification.
* Service Medical Registrar opportunities offer rotations through General Medicine departments and various medical specialties including Cardiology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Geriatrics, Haematology, Infectious Diseases, Medical Oncology, Nephrology, Neurology, Rehabilitation, Respiratory Medicine, Rheumatology and Stroke; the ALERT prevention of deterioration service, and multiple transplant services (including cardiac, lung, renal); these roles provide a broad mix of opportunities and experiences.
* Emergency Medical Registrar opportunities offer roles with a broad range of case load experiences in our adult/paediatric service, roster flexibility, training opportunities and great consultant support.
* The Emergency Departments currently see over 170,000 patients per annum with 25% paediatric presentations. The admission rate is about 40%, with high acuity presentations. There are currently 45 consultants working in the Emergency Department across all sites including 3 ACEM examiners. The department of Emergency Medicine has a strong educational program and is accredited by ACEM for 2 years of Advanced Vocational training.
Registrar's Required – Sydney/NSW, Brisbane/QLD, Perth /WA, Melbourne/Vic (2025 year)
This is an opportunity for UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, New Zealand PGY4+ Doctors interested in taking a year to specialise in Australia before returning home to complete their training.
* Full AHPRA Specialist or General Registration for Senior Positions.
* For Junior Positions:
• PGY4+
• MBBS or equivalent to enable registration as a Medical Practitioner with AHPRA is mandatory
• Candidates must have current medical registration from a comparable health authority
• Comparable health authorities – UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, New Zealand, Australia
