We are seeking caring individuals to start a rewarding career in aged care as Trainee Aged Care Workers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist elderly residents with daily living activities and lifestyle support in a residential setting.
* Provide personal care such as showering, dressing and grooming.
* Perform tasks like making beds, tidying residents' rooms and assisting with feeding and meal setup.
* Support social interactions and activities with residents.
* Trainees will be paid for training days and participate in on-the-job learning.
Ongoing Training & Support:
* A Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33021) is pursued through the traineeship including on-the-job training in residential aged care.
About This Role:
* This part-time position involves 15 hours per week with potential to work up to 35 hours per week.
* The role has an hourly rate starting from $29.46 and comes with a 24-month traineeship contract.
* If successful learners can progress to a qualified role within 12-15 months.
