About the role:
We are looking for a Corporate Lawyer who wants variety, responsibility, and the chance to influence how we do business. This role combines corporate governance, compliance, and commercial contracting, giving you exposure across the whole organisation. Based at our Cowandilla office, you will work closely with the General Counsel & Company Secretary, the Supply Chain Manager, and senior leaders to balance risk, compliance, and commercial opportunity.
What you'll do:
* Preparing Board and shareholder meeting materials, annual reporting, and ensuring compliance with ASX Listing Rules and the Corporations Act
* Supporting the development and implementation of corporate policies and compliance frameworks, including governance, risk, and ethical business standards
* Partnering with People & Culture to design and roll out our compliance training calendar
* Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating supply chain contracts (procurement, logistics, packaging) in partnership with the Supply Chain Manager, COO, and Finance team
* Providing practical legal advice to managers to support decision-making across the business
* Supporting major projects and transactions, including M&A activity, and acting as back-up to a fellow Corporate Lawyer when needed
What you'll bring:
We are seeking a lawyer with a commercial mindset who thrives on variety and problem-solving. To succeed, you will bring:
* 4–5 years post-admission experience in a well-regarded private practice or in-house environment
* Knowledge of corporate law, ASX Listing Rules, and the Corporations Act\
* Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills, with the ability to simplify complexity for non-legal colleagues
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage across all levels of the organisation
* A collaborative, solutions-focused approach, and the ability to prioritise competing demands
