Role Highlights
* Hourly rate of US$33.40 – $42.88 per hour (recently increased) + superannuation + km reimbursement at $0.99 per km
* Experience and qualified or brand new to the care industry – both welcome!
* Travelling to visit clients around Orange and surrounding areas
* Permanent, part‐time or casual roles available – flexible hours and days
* Not‐for‐profit employer – reduced tax rates
Day‐to‐day responsibilities
* Support clients with day‐to‐day activities such as cleaning, tidying, washing, and other tasks within the care plan
* Transport clients to appointments and shopping
* Prepare meals
* Provide social support or respite for family/carers
* Assist with personal care such as showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained)
To be successful, you'll need
* A genuine passion for providing high‐quality care to older Australians in the community
* Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
* Good communication skills
* A reliable team player
* An understanding of workplace health and safety
* Certificate III or IV in Individual Support highly regarded (but not essential)
* An Australian driver's licence and access to a registered motor vehicle (essential)
