About the role
We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Worker to join our team at All Road Services Pty Ltd in Agnes Banks, NSW. This is a full-time position that will play a vital role in the construction and maintenance of roads and infrastructure in the local area. Our work is within the Sydney Metro with limited need for travel.
As an Asphalt team member, you will be responsible for working in the asphalt crew and operating machinery and equipment to lay and compact asphalt, ensuring high-quality finishes on our projects.
What you'll be doing
* Operating specialised asphalt paving machines and compaction equipment
* Preparing and maintaining the work site to a high standard
* Ensuring the accurate and efficient application of asphalt materials according to project requirements
* Maintaining detailed records
* Adhering to all health, safety and environmental regulations on site
What we're looking for
* Experience as an Asphalt Worker
* Minimum 3-5 years of asphalt worker experience required
* Must be fluent in the English language
* Proficiency in operating asphalt equipment such as pavers, rollers and bobcats
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent physical fitness and stamina to work in a demanding outdoor environment
* A valid driver's license (HR License preferable)
* HR licence must be obtained within specified timeframe if not already held
* HR licence must be obtained within 3 months if not currently held
* Must have a vehicle to get to work
* Commitment to workplace health and safety and the wellbeing of others
* White Card certification required
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Valid work rights in Australia required
