About the role
Danila Dilba Health Service is seeking experienced General Practitioners to join our team in Darwin, Northern Territory. As a General Practitioner with DDHS, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, culturally safe primary health care within a multidisciplinary team environment.
What you'll be doing
* Providing comprehensive primary care services, including general practice consultations, health checks, chronic disease management, and preventative care
* Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver integrated, holistic patient care
* Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records, and ensuring compliance with all relevant medical and administrative policies
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of our services through participation in quality assurance activities
* Mentor and support Aboriginal Health Practitioners and other clinical team members.
What we're looking for
* Registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Fellowship of RACGP or ACRRM.
* Medical Indemnity Insurance.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
* A passion for improving health outcomes in the local community and a commitment to cultural safety and sensitivity
