What you'll do
Calculate your career success
As part of one of the leading tax administration agencies in the world, you'll work on cases to resolve taxpayer matters and prioritise compliance. Working alongside accounting professionals, you'll gain unparalleled industry experience as you conduct audits, investigate financial data and engage with taxpayers, agents and businesses.
With a qualification in finance, accounting, commerce, economics or business, the Taxation & Law stream could be the formula for your career growth. You could:
* provide expertise on policy, procedures, legislation, and frameworks to resolve complex issues
* conduct and support taxpayer engagement activities, including early engagements, verifications, risk reviews, audits, and advice on taxpayer obligations
* liaise professionally with taxpayers or intermediaries on sensitive issues to influence outcomes, obtain information, and provide advice through various channels
* review and research business processes to recommend and implement more efficient outcomes
* contribute to projects, strategies, and initiatives that support and deliver assurance
* conduct quality assurance activities and develop strategies to address findings within established guidelines.
