The Randstad SA Procurement, Contracts and Supply Chain team are currently representing a globally recognized tier‐1 leader, on one of the most significant mega‐projects currently underway in South Australia. This is a rare opportunity to step into a commercial leadership role on a massive scale. This global organization is driving unprecedented investment in critical infrastructure, innovation, and large‐scale sustainable supply chains, offering an industry‐defining platform for a Procurement and Commercial Manager.
Your New Role Will Involve
* Leading and overseeing the overarching procurement and commercial strategy to ensure the successful delivery of this multi‐billion‐dollar capital program.
* Directing high‐value, complex tendering, bid evaluation, and strategic sourcing initiatives across a global and domestic supplier base.
* Driving sophisticated contract formation, structuring, and executive‐level administration for major tier‐1 packages.
* Spearheading complex commercial negotiations, major claims management, and high‐stakes dispute resolution.
* Establishing executive‐level SRM frameworks, navigating intricate commercial challenges, and driving contractor performance against pivotal project milestones.
* Championing strategic continuous improvement, implementing advanced risk mitigation frameworks, and delivering substantial commercial value and cost‐efficiencies at scale.
* Management of a small, self‐sufficient and experienced team.
What You Will Need To Apply
* Demonstrated track record leading the full procurement and commercial lifecycle on massive‐scale, complex capital projects.
* Extensive experience within EPCM, tier‐1, heavy industry, or energy environments, specifically dealing with major infrastructure.
* A highly strategic, contemporary commercial mindset—capable of balancing aggressive project delivery targets with the stringent probity, ESG (environmental, social, and governance), and compliance standards required by global industry leaders.
