Making Milestones is an allied health practice with two clinics, in Welland, west of Adelaide and in Eyre, in the northern suburbs near Munno Para. Our clinics are dedicated to supporting children and young adults with disabilities. We provide a range of services aimed at helping our clients achieve their goals and enhance their quality of life.
Role Overview: We are seeking a friendly and proactive Admin Receptionist to join our team and work part time across both locations. This part-time position involves various administrative and reception duties, ensuring a welcoming environment for our clients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Interaction: Answer phone calls, greet clients, and provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
Appointment Management: Schedule, reschedule, and manage client appointments, ensuring optimal clinic flow.
Payment Processing: Handle client payments and manage accounts, ensuring accurate record-keeping and transactions.
Clinic Operations: Open and close the clinic daily, including basic end of day tidy of the reception area and clinic rooms.
Administrative Tasks: Assist with basic administrative duties, including data entry and record-keeping.
Database Management: Learn and utilize our allied health database for client records and scheduling.
Collaboration: Work effectively within a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
Client Engagement: Interact with parents, doctors, teachers, schools, NDIS representatives, and other health professionals in a professional and compassionate manner.
Qualifications:
Basic computer skills and proficiency in standard office software.
Willingness to learn about NDIS, Medicare processes, and our allied health database.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with children and families.
A cheerful personality with a proactive attitude and strong initiative.
