About the Position
As a Local Development Officer, you will work with Roma and surrounding communities to facilitate planning, economic and community development, and events at a local level. Your primary focus will be on Roma and its surroundings, however you may also provide leadership and support to other regional projects as required.
* Community & Stakeholder Engagement: You will engage with various stakeholders including community groups, local businesses, and government agencies to build strong relationships.
* Economic & Community Development Functions: You will work closely with these stakeholders to drive economic growth and community development initiatives in the region.
* Council, Department & Stakeholder Reporting and Administration: You will maintain accurate records of all activities undertaken within your role ensuring that relevant reporting is completed in a timely manner.
