The Context:
Our client is a successful and growing medium sized Engineering business with a solid market position within Australia & NZ, with 300 clients sustained by 30 years of providing high quality end-to-end process solutions for the water treatment sector.
We are looking appoint an Engineering Manager reporting to the CEO for Australia. The projects are delivered as minor projects and equipment solutions direct to industrial customers; as well as being a specialist process component of major municipal infrastructure assets via contractors throughout Australia.
The Role:
The Engineering manager will ensure the ongoing growth and profitability of a wide-ranging project portfolio; you'll be working across a stimulating range of industries. You'll be managing a small team of engineers for the lifecycle of a project. There is also support from the product team, technical sales and major projects teams.
The role is multidisciplinary, the focus areas are:
Project Management - working closely with clients and contractors to ensure high quality solutions are completed to schedule and budget.
Commercial:
Market development, Bids, Contract and Contractor management, budgets and reporting.
Success profile:
A technical background from a relevant industrial sector (water treatment or a form of process engineering)
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering and/or Project Management
Experience with project planning and delivery (detailed design experience advantageous)
