**About the role**:
Reporting to the General Manager of Marketing and Customer, your primary objective is to develop and execute their entire communications strategy which will include external communications (60%) and internal communications (40%).
You will develop communications plans and content to ensure key messages are developed across both external and internal audiences. A key focus for you will be on external communications and you will source, write and publish positive stories in a variety of channels including social media, the website as well pitching to the media to get this Purpose-driven Brand more exposure across Australia.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement the strategic communication strategy | This is a strategic and hands-on opportunity
- Build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders to achieve win/win outcomes both internally and externally. Internally that would be with the CEO, the marketing and digital team and the HR team. Externally that would be with their PR agency as well as the media too
- Develop content for both the website and social media channels as well as key internal communication campaigns too
- Manage the annual communications calendar and own the PR tracker to keep track of past, ongoing and upcoming stories
- Turn commercial concepts into compelling stories that will engage the media and the public
**Skills and Experience**:
To be successful for this role you will posses the following:
- Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Media and/or Marketing;
- Previous experience in a similar role working for a Not-for-profit/Health Care/Government/B2C sector is preferred
- Excellent written communication skills with all round content writing and proofing skills across print and digital channels for multiple audience groups
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to build and maintain relationships across all levels of the organisation;
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
