Support Worker for Traumatic Brain Injury
About the role:
We are seeking experienced Support Workers to assist a young male participant living with his family in Toowoomba, Queensland.
* Prompting and supervision across daily routines are required to ensure a smooth transition back into home life.
* Personal care tasks, toileting & transfers as needed will be assisted by the successful candidate.
* Domestic tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and general cleaning will also be undertaken.
* Community access and attending allied health appointments require support from the Support Worker.
* Rehabilitation exercises will be assisted with on a regular basis.
* Shopping, budgeting, and structured activities will also be supported.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with Traumatic Brain Injuries and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A valid driver's license and ability to work independently are essential requirements for this role.
