Our client is seeking an experienced Product Owner to join their Agile delivery environment and play a key role in shaping and delivering strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities
* Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring clear prioritisation aligned to business value
* Define and communicate product vision and roadmap in collaboration with key stakeholders
* Translate business and customer needs into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria
* Work closely with Agile delivery teams to support successful sprint planning and execution
* Engage and manage stakeholders across business, technology, and operations
* Act as the voice of the customer and business within the delivery team
* Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
* Ensure alignment with financial services regulatory and compliance requirements
* Drive continuous improvement across Agile delivery practices
Key Requirements
* Proven experience as a Product Owner within a financial services environment (banking, insurance, wealth or payments)
* Strong understanding and practical experience working in Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, Kanban or scaled Agile)
* Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritise complex product backlogs
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Ability to articulate requirements clearly and work collaboratively across teams
* Pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset with strong problem-solving capability
* Comfortable working in fast-paced and evolving environments
Desirable Experience
* Experience working on digital, platform, or transformation initiatives
* Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations in financial services
