Key Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Deal Manager to play a pivotal role in driving the commercial success of our projects.
* Oversight of procurement and contract negotiations: developing and executing project procurement plans, packaging trade scopes, conducting tenders and driving negotiations to secure optimal outcomes.
* Management of project financials and budget control: monitoring project costs, maintaining up-to-date cost reports and forecasts, and providing transparent financial reporting to ensure timely completion.
* Administration of head contracts: ensuring all head contract conditions, deliverables, notices (inc. any variations, EOTs, delays etc) are administered in accordance with our entitlements to protect our commercial position and ensure smooth project delivery.
* Leadership of subcontractor management: from award to project handover, preparing and negotiating subcontracts and supply agreements, managing subcontractor performance and progress, assessing variations and claims, and issuing notices as required, all while fostering positive relationships.
Requirements
* A seasoned Commercial Deal Manager who thinks like an owner and thrives on creating value through their commercial expertise.
* Ideal candidates will have honed their skills with a Tier 2 or Tier 3 head contractor, where they have delivered 3+ end-to-end large-scale building projects.
* You must be a self-starter known for your attention to detail, excellent negotiation skills, and ability to build strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
