About The Role As a Medical Photographer, you will ensure appointment coordination and high quality patient care through overseeing patient consent, image processing, image management and equipment functionality.
This role involves but is not limited to:
* Contact patients 24 hours in advance to confirm appointments and notify reception/admin of any cancellations.
* Monitor doctor and Vectra Machine schedules to minimise patient wait times.
* Administer the patient consent process and ensure all forms are signed before imaging.
* Operate the Vectra Machine to take primary and supplementary images as directed by the consulting doctor.
* Assist with and oversee patient global and macro hair photography.
* Develop standardised processes for photograph quality and size.
* Produce and manage the distribution of Vectra machine images on USB sticks
* Check Vectra Machine functionality daily and report issues promptly
* Check cameras regularly and report any issues
* Welcome patients, explain imaging processes, and accompany them post-session
* Attend meetings to discuss service quality, patient flow, image quality, and potential process improvements
About You
* Strong appointment coordination skills, including confirming bookings 24 hours in advance, managing cancellations, and monitoring schedules to minimise patient wait times.
* Experience in patient consent processes and clinical hair imaging, including global/macro photography and use of imaging systems such as the Vectra machine.
* Ability to maintain and manage imaging equipment and environments, ensuring daily functionality checks, cleanliness, and adherence to maintenance schedules.
* Strong interpersonal and training capabilities, including patient communication, collaboration with clinical teams, and training new staff on imaging processes and systems.
