GP Liaison – Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital, Caloundra Private Day Hospital

About the Role
Reporting to the hospital CEOs and working closely with the Doctor Engagement Manager, this full-time role focuses on driving referral growth, promoting hospital services, and strengthening relationships with GPs and other referrers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to grow referrals in key specialties.
- Promote specialists and services through GP visits and CPD events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with GP practices in the catchment area.
- Create targeted communications to highlight new and existing specialists.
- Maintain a detailed and accurate GP database.
- Identify growth opportunities and respond to market needs.
- Provide monthly reports demonstrating ROI and referral outcomes.
About you
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in business development or a similar healthcare role.
- Strong understanding of referral pathways and medical specialist relationships.
- Proven success in achieving sales targets.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement and relationship building.
- Experience using data to inform strategy and track performance.
- Comfortable with cold calling and influencing referrer groups.
Desirable
- Experience in private healthcare.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, or Health.
- Event management experience.
