The Role
We are on the lookout for an exceptional Administrator — a true all-rounder with a broad skill set, sharp attention to detail, and the confidence to tackle whatever comes their way.
As the Administration Manager, you'll be at the heart of the day-to-day operations of the Western Diocese. This dynamic role requires juggling multiple responsibilities, the ability to work independently to provide support to a variety of stakeholders. This is a role where no two days are the same.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Day-to-day site management including contractor & visitor inductions, reception duties and management of amenities.
* First point of contact for new volunteer engagement, managing their applications and referral pathways.
* Accounts administration support, including supplier setup, payment requisitions, invoicing and credit card reconciliation.
* Regular liaison with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and coordination.
* Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of diocesan databases and operational records.
This is a full-time, permanent position (38 hours per week), based at our Sumner Park office.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* Relevant Tertiary or TAFE Qualification or equivalent experience in Business Administration or Management
* Sound knowledge and understanding of administration support functions within a multi-faceted business
* Proficiency in MS Office and financial systems, Technology One and ExpenseMe desirable
* Previous management experience within an administration support role.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills including the ability to build rapport and demonstrate professionalism at all times
* Computer literacy including strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Outlook
* Ability to exercise judgement and problem solve, providing evidence-based solutions
* Understanding of and commitment to the philosophy of the St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland and an ability to work in accordance with policies and procedures to promote the values and mission of the Society
