Get to Know Our Team
The Design team is a diverse group of product designers and researchers that help to build Agoda’s products from our home office in Bangkok. We partner with product managers and engineers to understand user problems and design workflows, interactions, and visual interfaces. This is a great time to join a team that’s scrappy and hands-on, yet big enough to influence change and product strategy.
Experience Requirements & Role Expectations
- 6+ years of full-time experience as a product designer for digital or web-based products; in-house experience highly preferred.
- Create visually stunning, intuitive, and delightful interfaces, and independently deliver pixel-perfect UI and seamless interactions.
- Deep experience in UI design with knowledge of design patterns and a creative approach to solving problems through user interfaces.
- Proficient in both quantitative and qualitative research, with hands-on experience running user interviews, synthesizing findings, and generating actionable insights.
- Take full ownership of the design process for a dedicated scrum, from discovery to delivery. Set the design vision, define the user experience, and ensure high-quality execution.
- Partner with Product managers to shape product vision and roadmap. Use data, research, and business context to inform design decisions, balancing user needs with business goals.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders within an agile development process.
- Strong communicator who can articulate design rationale, influence stakeholders, and build trust across disciplines.
- A robust portfolio demonstrating design thinking, process, and solutions for beautiful, user-centered web and mobile product design.
Day to Day
- Running discovery phases and helping define product requirements
- Testing prototypes and hypotheses with users to collect feedback
- Presenting work to peers and leadership, async and in-person
- Participating in weekly design critiques, workshops, all-hands, and squad meetings
- Thinking and writing about your process and decisions
- Championing cohesion and consistency in UX design across products/features
- Acting as a strategic leader with a vision for customer-centric experiences
