Responsibilities
Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and implement effective strategies to drive growth across the food service channel, including hotels, cafés, and restaurants.
Account Management: Foster strong relationships with key accounts and distributors to ensure smooth product distribution and exceptional service.
New Business Development: Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities, negotiating agreements that support revenue growth and market expansion.
Market & Customer Insights: Deliver valuable market analysis and customer feedback to support product development and refine marketing initiatives.
Performance Tracking: Meet sales targets and provide timely reports on performance, market trends, and competitive activity.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to ensure efficient product delivery and a seamless client experience.
Brand Representation: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and key client meetings to strengthen brand presence and visibility.
Requirements
B2B Sales Expertise: Demonstrated success in business-to-business sales within the Australian food service sector, especially across hotels, cafés, and restaurants.
Cultural Interest: A genuine interest in or experience with Japanese cuisine, culture, or business is highly regarded.
Industry Insight: Strong knowledge of the food service market, including key players, emerging trends, and competitive landscapes.
Relationship & Negotiation Skills: Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities, with a talent for building long-term, profitable client relationships.
Self-Driven & Results-Focused: A proactive self-starter with a solid track record of working independently and delivering results in a competitive environment.
Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM platforms and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Mobility: A valid driver's licence and a readiness to travel within Australia as required.
