About the Role
Apprenticeships are four-year structured programs that offer work and study. You learn on-the-job as well as in the classroom to become a qualified tradesperson, with a fantastic head start in your chosen career.
In an apprenticeship with us, you will have hands-on experience in the ever-evolving energy industry.
Electrical Trades
Choose from three exciting electrical trade roles: Powerline Workers, Cable Jointers, or Zone Substation Electrical Technicians.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintaining poles and wires that deliver electricity to our communities.
* Constructing, installing, and maintaining underground and associated electrical equipment.
* Coordinating construction and maintenance of Zone Substations and installing equipment.

Physical Requirements
All apprentice positions are physical roles requiring a high level of physical fitness, including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, standing for extended periods, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, shovelling, walking, crouching, and balancing.
You will require upper limb strength and endurance for tasks such as climbing, reaching overhead, and working at heights.
