We are on a mission to transform our customers' financial experiences by harnessing the power of owned media. As Chapter Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our media ecosystem.
This senior leadership position requires someone who can architect and operationalise our vision for a market-leading retail media platform. You'll integrate strategic partnerships, technology roadmaps, data infrastructure, and customer experience to elevate CommBank Connect.
Your responsibilities will include scaling our retail media division, leveraging and improving the value of our owned assets. This involves stakeholder management and collaboration with senior leaders across the Group and agency partners.
* Determine and govern the strategic direction for our owned media portfolio, aligning with enterprise objectives and market dynamics.
* Cultivate technology and data strategy integration to enable scalable, compliant, and media delivery across all channels.
* Develop commercialisation strategies for owned media assets, driving sustainable revenue growth through strategic partnerships and technology roadmaps.
* Establish tracking and measurement frameworks to assess value and attribution across marketing channels and capabilities.
* Oversight of cross-functional program governance, ensuring alignment with Group risk, compliance, and financial frameworks.
* Unlock enhanced customer experiences through content, digital media, and partnership experiences.
* Evaluate the effectiveness of current owned marketing initiatives and lead the design of product, technology, and service development in retail media.
* Oversee media sales and partnerships teams and translate pipelines of opportunities into performance at scale.
* Function as a member of the senior management team for strategic planning, implementation, and leadership of owned media.
* Responsible for capability uplift in retail media across Marketing.
* Responsible for leading and inspiring a team of owned media specialists through clear articulation of vision and their contribution to Group objectives.
To succeed, we're looking for someone with:
* A seasoned senior marketing or media professional with proven leadership, influencing, and facilitation capabilities.
* Excellent analytical, planning, and prioritisation skills.
* Strong organisational skills with ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
* Solid understanding of marketing channels and media mix, including paid, owned, and retail media.
* Strong commercial acumen with Marketing/Media or Digital experience.
* Understanding of media landscapes, specifically paid media, owned channels, and partnerships experience.
* Evidence of strong project management skills, including time management, and ability to influence and negotiate with senior colleagues.
* Ability to use strategic planning and thinking to build and deliver advertising and marketing plans aligned to key target metrics.
* Proven leadership experience with ability to inspire, motivate, and define future vision for the portfolio.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with proven ability to drive innovation and growth at scale.
