This is a key role responsible for ensuring adherence to the Environmental Management System, conducting audits, and supporting environmental training and investigations.Key Responsibilities:Monitor environmental compliance and complete audits and inspectionsPromptly report and manage environmental incidents and investigationsEnsure all statutory and internal environmental reporting is accurate and timelyProvide advice and training on environmental procedures and controlsOversee waste management and drive sustainable practicesLiaise with site teams to promote environmental awareness and best practicesEnsure compliance with relevant legislation and internal systems (SHMS & EMS)What You’ll Bring:Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science or a related fieldMinimum 2 years’ experience in an environmental role on an operational mine siteSolid understanding of key legislation including the Environmental Protection Act 1994 and EPBC Act 1999Risk management and investigation competencies (G1, G2, G8, G9 – within 5 years)Sound knowledge of HSE systems and processesProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsCurrent QLD C-Class Driver LicenceJoin a company that values safety, compliance, and responsible mining.
