One Penny Black is a busy, fast-paced café in Newcastle, known for quality coffee and great service. We're looking for a reliable and passionate Barista to join our team.
About The Role
* Prepare and serve high-quality coffee in a fast-paced environment
* Maintain consistency in every cup (we weigh every shot)
* Provide friendly and efficient customer service
* Keep the workspace clean and organised
* Work collaboratively with the team during busy service periods
What We're Looking For
* Previous barista experience preferred
* Basic knowledge of coffee and willingness to learn
* Ability to work under pressure (especially weekends)
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic
* Availability on weekends is essential
