About the role:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Electrician to upskill their qualifications in Electrical and Instrumentation.
In this position, you will work in the natural gas industry and be responsible for completing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on a variety of assets.
These may include Trunk Receiving Stations, Package Offtake Stations, Primary Regulating Station, Transmission Pipelines, Distribution Network, Renewable Energy Assets, and Compressor Stations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintenance and calibration of electronic measurement instruments
- Maintenance of valves and other mechanical equipment associated with gas transmission
- Supporting project works including design input and review
- HAZOP and HAZID attendance
- Undertaking maintenance in accordance with Jemena/Zinfra Policies and Procedures
- Establishing and maintaining a Safe Worksite complying with all OHS&E requirements
About you:
You will need to possess:
- A current Supervisors Certificate/Electrical Qualification (License)
- A White card/First aid/CPR certificate
- Experience in PLC/RTU fault finding and operation (desirable)
- Electrical Hazardous Area knowledge (desirable)
- A safety-focused attitude
- Willingness to learn/completion of Cert IV in Instrumentation and Control at Tafe/Company Assisted
- Personal computing skills utilising Microsoft Office systems
