Overview
Hancock Iron Ore is seeking a skilled and motivated Dewatering Operator to join our high-performing Water team. In this hands-on position, you will play a vital role in managing water across our mining operations, ensuring both operational efficiency and environmental compliance. Responsibilities
* Install and maintain polyethylene piping and fittings (in-pit and ex-pit)
* Operate and monitor bore fields
* Perform pipeline isolation and repairs
* Remove and reinstate water infrastructure as required
* Dewater active and planned mining pits
* Supply the process plant with the required water quality and volume
* Manage disposal of excess water via injection bore fields and dust suppression systems
* Operate and maintain water infrastructure in line with Roy Hill's licensing and compliance obligations
Required Experience and Licences
* Previous experience in dewatering or mining operations
* Manual C Class Driver's Licence
* Experience operating IT Loaders and performing Dogman duties (highly regarded)
* Poly welding and extrusion welding experience (highly regarded)
